Beneath the surface of modern, bustling Birmingham lies a long history of dark deeds. Let us take you on an alternative walk through the city’s past, retelling stories which may haunt you long after the sun has gone down. Both of our walks promise tales of plague, public execution, hauntings and murder most foul along the way – join us, and find out more about the darker side of Birmingham.
Our Graveyard Ghost walk will visit four of the city’s graveyards, the chilling catacombs in the famous Jewellery Quarter and will end at the haunted The Red Lion pub, Warstone Lane.
Our City Centre Ghost walk concentrates on the square mile that formed the heart of the Victorian city, ending at the most haunted Old Joint Stock Pub and Theatre.
Graveyard Ghost walks start at 7:00 p.m. sharp from the steps of St Phillips Cathedral, Birmingham on the 1st Friday of the month from February to December. We will be telling pre walk Ghost Stories in Urban Coffee Company, Church Street, Birmingham, from 6:15 p.m. on the evening of our Graveyard Ghost walks.
Our City Centre Ghost walks start at 7:00 p.m. sharp from the steps of The Council House, Victoria Square, Birmingham on the 3rd Friday of the month from January until October, with a special Halloween tour on the 31st October. Our November and December walks start on the steps of St Phillips Cathedral.
