Round Britain Industrial Heritage Tour

In 2010 and 2011 we worked with Barton Hill Travel to take a group of Australian, Tasmanian and New Zealand guests on a 21 day round Britain Industrial Heritage Tour.

We are delighted to have been asked to work with Barton Hill again on next years tour.

Examples of the venues we will visit are:

  • 5 private collections of vintage tractors, traction engines and machinery
  • Riding on 2 steam railways, a steam bus and a steam boat
  • Masterpieces of engineering from Boulton, Watt and Brunel
  • The Iron masters and potters of Ironbribge
  • Living Museums including Portsmoth docks, Ferguson Family Museum, Blists Hills, Manchester Museum of Science and Industry, Anson Engine Museum, National Railway Museum, RAF Hendon and the Kew Bridge Steam Museum.
  • Walks around 3 important city’s with strong links to the Industrial development of the country.

This general Industrial Heritage tour, can be adapted for your groups area of interest and time available.
