Guided Tours of England

Warwick Castle Blenheim Bridge

Churches and Cathedrals

From soaring towers to Saxon sanctuaries; the Heart of England has it all. The ancient Cathedrals of Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester host the internationally famous music festival. The monumental abbeys of Tewkesbury and Evesham are now parish churches for the local communities, whilst nestling in the Cotswold valleys, you will find beautiful mediaeval churches built with the profits of the wool trade.

Gloucester Cathedral

Visit the iconic Coventry Cathedral with its universal message of peace and reconciliation. Enjoy the sumptuous mediaeval splendour of the Beauchamp Chapel at St. Mary’s in Warwick, final resting place of the owners of Warwick castle. Experience the hushed intimacy of the Saxon Sanctuary at Wootton Wawen. Take time to visit the church of the Holy Trinity in Stratford- upon- Avon where the town’s most famous son, William Shakespeare, was both baptised and buried.

We are pleased to work with Lindum Heritage for guided history short breaks.  Lindum Heritage offer a varied program of  tours including churches in the Cotswolds and Herefordshire.
