Background
I am a native of Leamington Spa and have lived in the Heart of England for most of my life. In my previous career I worked as a professional engineer in the telecommunications industry. Over the years I have developed a broad knowledge and love of the region which, as a qualified Blue Badge tour Guide, I now enjoy sharing with visitors.
Special Interests
In addition to visits to well known attractions I provide tailor made tours of the region’s less frequented but equally fascinating countryside and historic sites. I have particular interests in Industrial Heritage covering the Ironbridge Gorge, Birmingham, The Black Country and The Forest of Dean as well as the region’s canal network and heritage railways. I have also developed an interest in church architecture and the insights into national and local history that they provide.
